Accountability
A lot of times, we don’t have a positive adaptation of accountability. Based on our experiences and the experiences others have had, we get defensive when we hear it and when we receive it, so it must be given with respect. Accountability can be a positive thing, and it’s important in terms of helping us get to where we want to be in our relationships.

Listening
Listening is one of the most important aspects of a relationship. A person can’t influence, be present or even really bond with someone if they don’t feel heard or understood. Feeling understood is the basis for effective communication between two people because. The human heart, more than anything wants to be known.

The Boundary Between Love and Hate
When you think of hate, you may think of the negative connotations associated with it, but in this course, Dr. Henry Cloud explains how hate plays a different role in our lives. Hate is one of the most important aspects of being human. It is one of the most critical ingredients of a good person's character. What we hate says a lot about who we are, what we value and what we care about. And how we hate says much about how we will succeed in love and life.

Growth Mindset
When you think about how you want to grow in your life, I want you to think about something: How do you interpret your ability to do something? Do you think that it’s fixed and can never be changed, or do you interpret it as a state today that can change in the future? There is a gap between failure and our ability to see whether or not we can learn to grow past an obstacle, and it has everything to do with the tone of our inner voice. What does your internal dialogue sound like? Is it negative? Are you included to shame yourself? It’s one thing to coach yourself through something difficult, but it’s another to judge to condemn yourself. In this course, I’m going to talk to you about how to open your mind up to being curious so you can get into the right frame of mind to achieve your goals.

Stop Comparing Yourself to Others
Author, speaker and all around inspirational person Rachel Cruze and Dr. Henry Cloud have an in-depth conversation about what happens in our lives when we become preoccupied with comparing ourselves to other people, how to stop doing it and how we can craft a more meaningful life.
